Super Bowl Commercial “God Made a Farmer”

In this midst of all the Super Bowl excitement one commerical took a commanding lead as Nature’s Rewards favorite. Dodge featured American agriculture and told the story of the American Farmer. Instead of sexual inneundos, comedy and social icons Dodge focused their commerical on the real American icon, Farmers. With stellar pictures and Paul Harvey’s narration the commerical was serious and compelling. As family farmers Nature’s Reward thanks Dodge for taking their Super Bowl commerical and using it to not only promote their product but also the American Farmer. We need more supporters like Dodge to help speak for farmers. If you missed the commerical it is a must see and if you saw it….. watch it again!

With help from the documentary “Fat Sick and Nearly Dead” juicing fruits and veggies has become increasingly popular. Supplementing these nutrient rich juices for some or even all of your meals can lead to a healthier lifestyle. Right now you are thinking “ya ok but how can juicing be at all appetizing or even taste good.” Below are two examples of juices that show you how tasting and fulfilling they can be. Both these recipes have been tested and found to be a favorite of Nature’s Reward!

Breakfast
(4) carrots
(1/2) pineapple
(3) pears
(3 handfuls) blueberries

Dinner
(3-4) beets , tops and all
(1) head of bok choy
(1) broccoli crown
(4) apples

Nature’s Reward Broccoli Mac and Cheese

Finding the perfect recipe to please you picky kid along with making sure they are getting all thei veggies can be difficult………. well until now. Nature’s Reward Broccoli Mac and Cheese combines the best of both worlds!! It allows you childern to eat their favorite cheesy meal but becomes the perfect vessel for veggies like broccoli. You can also experiment with different kinds of cheese that your family prefers the classic being cheddar or pepper jack if you are feeling adventurous!

Ingerdients:

2 bunches or crowns Natures Reward Broccoli cut into florets

1 box whole wheat or multigrain pasta

2 cups sour cream

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

2 cloves minced garlic

2 1/2 cups of your favorite cheese grated

few drops of hot sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 F

Boil broccoli for five mintues and remove broccoli from boiling water

Boil pasta until almost done

In a bowl combine sour cream, garlic, hot sauce, dijon mustard. Add pasta and broccoli to mixture along with 2/3 of the grated chease. Stir and transfer to a casserole dish and top with the remaing cheese.

Bake for 40-45 min
